Question

1. When auditing the Communications Minister's travel to Adelaide on 7 June 2025, was IPEA aware that the "sideline meeting" she held at a "function" to justify her claim of conducting parliamentary business with South Australian Minister, Chris Picton, until 7.45PM, seems at best to have been an informal chat at the 40th birthday party of a friend, who is Minister Picton's wife? 2. How would this satisfy the definition of "Parliamentary Business" as set out in the Parliamentary Business Resources Act framework? 3. How did this satisfy the Minister for Communications' obligation under the Parliamentary Business Resources Act that her activities be publicly justifiable and reasonable, given community expectations?
