Question

Obligations to report on Gender Equality Targets in annual WGEA reports commenced this year. 1. What is the date by which the first GET reports will need to be submitted? 2. Are companies required to nominate their selected targets in advance, or just report on the selected three in their first report? 3. Is WGEA doing any work with companies to select the most appropriate targets for their company (rather than just the easiest to achieve)? 4. Have you developed guidelines for when progress towards a target will be significant enough to demonstrate compliance with obligations under the Act? 5. Do GET obligations apply to public sector employers as well? 6. The APSC Staff Survey results provide insights into staff views on leadership, bullying, opportunities for growth and promotion, access to leave or flexible working arrangements. a. Will WGEA use any of the data in those surveys to analyse whether a public service employer is meeting its GETs?
