1. The Government commenced an ongoing audit of Australian Government systems in September 2024 to identify and address weaponisation of these systems to commit financial abuse. Has the OfW provided any advice on this audit or made a submission or contribution? a. Who requested the advice? b. When was the advice requested, and when was the advice provided? 2. Has the OfW met with the Minister regarding this audit? a. How many times did the OfW meet with the Minister? b. Please provide the dates of those meetings. 3. Did the OfW attend any interdepartmental meetings, or work with other departments regarding the audit? a. How many times did the OfW attend these meetings? b. Please provide the dates of those meetings, and the meeting attendees. 4. The Government is also embedding safety-by-design principles into new and existing Commonwealth systems to remove opportunities for abuse or misuse. What advice has the OfW provided to the Minister, or to other Departments, on this process? a. When was the advice sought and given, and by whom? b. Please provide a copy of the advice.
