1. Who is the responsible Minister for the implementation of the Simplified Trade System (STS)? 2. Can Austrade confirm the Simplified Trade System Unit will cease operating on 30 June 2026? 3. Which Minister has lead responsibility for STS after the STS Unit is wound up? 4. Which department or agency will have lead operational responsibility? 5. In simple terms, after several years of Simplified Trade System work, what can an Australian exporter or importer do today that they could not do before the STS Taskforce and STS Unit existed? 6. What specific red tape has actually been removed?
