(a) Please provide key market marketing budgets for 2026-27? (b) The Managing Director of Tourism Australia advised that over the forward estimates, the 2026 Federal Budget confirmed a total funding reduction of $55.9 million for the agency. Please provide a full breakdown of Tourism Australia's budget reduction by financial year, outcomes, market and activity. (c) What is the total reduction to Tourism Australia funding across the forward estimates? (d) Which international markets will receive less Tourism Australia activity in 2026-27 compared with 2025-26? (e) Has Tourism Australia revised its annual operating plan as a result of the Budget reduction? (f) Has Tourism Australia provided advice to Government on the impact of the reduction on visitor demand, aviation partnerships, regional dispersal or business events? i. If yes, what was the advice? ii. If no, why not? (g) When explaining the potential impacts of the Federal Government's funding cuts to Tourism Australia, the Managing Director indicated that there would be a "reduction in activity in some of the markets. One of the ones that we've reduced is New Zealand...". Can Tourism Australia please outline what specific measures it has undertaken, is currently undertaking, and plans to undertake, when it comes to reducing the agency's activity in the New Zealand market? (i) Has Tourism Australia identified any markets where competitor destinations are outspending Australia on tourism marketing, aviation partnerships or business events? (j) Has Tourism Australia benchmarked its funding against the national tourism marketing budgets of Australia's key competitor destinations? (k) If yes, please provide the most recent comparison, including: i. New Zealand; ii. Singapore; iii. Thailand; iv. Japan; v. South Korea; vi. Canada; vii. the United States; viii. the United Kingdom; ix. France; x. Italy; xi. any other long-haul or Asia-Pacific competitor destinations used by Tourism Australia for benchmarking. (l) Has Tourism Australia advised Government that its funding is below, broadly comparable with, or above the funding of competitor national tourism organisations?
