Question

1. Can the Attorney-General confirm how many FOI requests the ANAO found the Attorney-General's Department received in 2024/25, how many were refused access in part or full, and how many were 'set aside'. Please provide numbers and percentages. 2. Upon becoming Prime Minister, Mr Albanese declared that "the Australian people deserve accountability and transparency, not secrecy". Based on the Prime Minister's own benchmark and this report by the ANAO, has the Attorney-General's Department delivered more accountability and transparency or more secrecy? 3. What recommendations did the ANAO make to the Attorney-General's Department? 4. How long will it take for the Attorney-General's Department to fully implement these recommendations? 5. What if any KPI's has the Attorney-General's Department implemented to track the implementation of the ANAO's recommendations? 6. How many FOI requests did the Attorney-General's Department receive? 7. How many did the Attorney-General's Department refuse access to in part or in full? Provide the number and percentage. 8.
