1. On 15 November 2022, the now Attorney-General, Michelle Rowland, told the Friends of the ABC that: "And I take this moment to affirm the Albanese Government's commitment to implementing the Uluru Statement in full: Voice, Treaty and Truth." Does the Albanese Government have a current policy to pursue a Treaty with Indigenous Australians?? 2. What is the Albanese Government's position on the implementation of a National Treaty with Indigenous Australians? 3. Is the Attorney-General's Department conducting any work in relation to Treaty? If yes, what work? 4. Is the Government still committed to establishing a Makarrata Commission? 5. Is the Attorney-General's Department involved in the establishment of a Makarrata Commission? a. (If yes) What work has been completed to date on a Makarrata Commission? 6. Has AGD developed any draft models or frameworks for a Makarrata Commission? 7. Has AGD advised on interaction between Commonwealth and state treaties? 8. Does AGD have any current work relating to national truth-telling - yes or no? 9. Has AGD provided advice on truth-telling mechanisms? 10. What funding has AGD received since 2022 for treaty or Makarrata-related work? 11. How much of that funding has been spent, and on what?
