1. Does Norfolk Island receive any Commonwealth funding for sentinel hives, honey bee surveillance or other programs to detect Varroa mite? 2. If Norfolk Island does not receive funding for sentinel hives or Varroa mite surveillance, why not? 3. What assessment has the department made of the risk of Varroa mite entering Norfolk Island? 4. What surveillance is currently in place at ports, freight entry points, airport, hives and other risk pathways on Norfolk Island?
