Question

1. The Albanese Government announced a $300 million Forestry Growth Fund on 27 November 2025, comprising concessional finance and industry support measures to modernise timber processing and support the sector's transition under forthcoming EPBC reforms. The Forestry Growth Fund includes a dedicated workforce component, with funding aimed at strengthening the workforce, improving safety and productivity, and supporting regional communities. 2. The available detail indicates this support is focused on industry capability and growth, rather than targeted transition support for workers affected by changes to native forest logging. Will the fund include support for worker transition packages and reskilling grants?
