Food insecurity

Question

In relation to the National Food Security Strategy: a) What data is DAFF using to assess household food insecurity? b) Has DAFF considered the Foodbank Hunger Report and other food insecurity datasets? c) What role will DAFF play in addressing food affordability and access for regional and remote communities? d) Has DAFF prepared any analysis on the relationship between fuel, fertiliser, freight costs and food prices? Has this been provided to the Minister? If yes, on what date? e) Has DAFF assessed whether Budget savings to relevant programs affect national food security resilience? If yes, please advise when the Minister was advised of this.
