Question

In relation to evidence regarding Sugar Research Australia genetic material allegedly transferred to PT Global Papua Abadi or related entities in Indonesia or West Papua: a) Is DAFF aware of the transfer of sugarcane genetic material, germplasm, research outputs or intellectual property to Indonesian entities? b) Was any public funding used to develop the genetic material, research outputs or intellectual property? c) Did DAFF approve, review or receive notice of the transfer? d) What conditions apply to the use, licensing or transfer of publicly supported research outputs by Sugar Research Australia? e) Has DAFF examined any potential conflict of interest involving former SRA personnel and the recipient entity?
