Question

1. In 2024-25, how much did FRDC spend on projects explicitly linked to net zero, emissions reduction, carbon, decarbonisation, climate resilience or sustainability reporting? 2. Was work previously described as environmental adaptation or environmental change reclassified in 2024-25 into net zero-related activities? 3. Your annual report identifies $2.32m under ''Transitioning to a net zero future''. Can you table the full project list, including project title, recipient, amount, funding source and whether levy funds were used? What methodological changes were made between the 2023-24 and 2024-25 annual reports in how FRDC categorises climate, environmental and net zero expenditure? 4. Of the $8.24m classified as climate resilience in 2024-25, how much directly related to emissions reduction, carbon accounting, decarbonisation or net zero transition activities? 5. Is any of this expenditure funded directly or indirectly through industry levies or industry contributions? 6. Do levy payers get a say before their money is directed into net zero-aligned projects? 7. Has FRDC assessed whether emissions, carbon or sustainability reporting projects increase costs for small fishing businesses or aquaculture producers?
