Question

What forward estimates have been allocated for the continuation of deer management in SA and Tasmania as well as critical coordinator roles for feral pigs, cats, deer and rabbits that support farmers managing invasive species across tenures to achieve efficiencies and drive down populations in this budget? Can the department explicitly clarify the division of responsibilities regarding federal action plans? Like the Threat Abatement Plans for National Deer Coordination etc, While the Commonwealth may coordinate or facilitate the overarching strategy, the actual delivery, implementation, and funding of on-the-ground operational activities rest entirely with the respective state and territory governments?
