Question

1. How many private landholders remain subject to corridor protection orders or land acquisition processes north of Parkes, and for how long does the government intend to maintain those obligations over their properties? 2. What will be the process be for landholders that are mid-negotiation? 3. Is corridor preservation north of Parkes costed in the Budget, and if so, at what figure and for what period? 4. Is the decision to preserve the corridor an acknowledgement by the government that it anticipates completing the full project at some future point? If so, why was that not communicated to the communities affected by this announcement? 5. What land acquisition, corridor preservation or strategic planning activity was undertaken by governments or public authorities in anticipation of expanded rail and freight operations associated with the Inland Rail project and connected logistics infrastructure at LOGIC Park?
