Question

1. When will round 12 of the Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program open? 2. When will round 5 of the Regional Airports Program open? 3. As per Round 4 of the Regional Airports Program, will Round 5 offer Grants from $20,000 to $7.5 million to undertake essential works to improve aviation safety, access and transition to net zero emissions for regional communities. 4. a) Has the department received any feedback from local councils that $7.5 million is not enough money to get critical aviation works undertaken? b) Which councils have you received correspondence regarding the Regional Airports Program not being fit for purpose? c) What percentage of contribution will be required by applicants for the Regional Airports Program? d) If a council cannot financially match the percentage contribution for the Regional Airports program, what are their options?
