Reid Highway Intersection Upgrade Project

Question

1. Please provide an update on the progress of Reid Highway/Altone Road. The roundabout was scheduled to be operational in May 2026. Has this occurred? 2. Reid Highway/West Swan Road - Has the Department received an update with progress on the land acquisitions and environmental approvals? 3. Has the Department been advised of how many land acquisitions are involved? If yes, how many? 4. Has the Department received advice on whether all required land acquisitions are on track to be completed within the current program timeline? If yes, how many? 5. At the December 2025 Senate Estimates, the Department mentioned that stakeholder negotiations were underway, including ''impacts on a number of businesses''. For clarification, are those negotiations sperate from land acquisitions, or they part of acquisition process (or do the relate to matters such as noise and dust mitigation)? 6. Has the Department been advised of any cost pressures arising from delays to land acquisition or environmental approvals?
