1. How much Commonwealth funding has been provided to the Council for the purpose of battery storage since 2022 and how much has been spent? 2. Was a second large-scale battery considered in the context of Commonwealth funding received for battery storage? 3. If a second large-scale battery was considered but not procured, why was it not procured? 4. What technical, financial, procurement, network, safety or operational advice informed the decision not to procure a second large-scale battery? 5. Has the Council submitted any business case, proposal or request for funding for a second large-scale battery for Norfolk Island? 6. What is the current plan and timeline for further battery storage on the Norfolk Island grid?
