Question

The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project originally included land purchased for an Active Transport Corridor, but this component is no longer part of the project. 1. Did the Minister or the Department sign off on the decision to delete the active transport component of the project? If so, a. Who made that decision and when? b. On what basis was the decision made? Please provide any briefing documents supporting the decision c. Who was consulted prior to the decision to remove the active transport component? 2. Are there any current plans for the land purchased for the bikeway? 3. Have any cost estimates been made, or Budget allocated, for future retrofitting of the bikeway after completion of the rail project?
