Cultural Centre Grant

Question

1.I refer to a $1 million grant provided to the Maddaingya Aboriginal Corporation, approved in March 2026, for the development of a new cultural centre. Is this $1 million intended to fund the Centre's construction through to completion, or will the money just see construction work "continued"? 2.Does Aboriginal Investment NT know when the Centre will be completed? 3.Was Aboriginal Investment NT provided with a completion date when the grant was approved? 4.Does Aboriginal Investment NT know whether the $1 million has been budgeted to cover all remaining construction and activities needed to reach completion of the Centre? a.If not, does Aboriginal Investment NT know how remaining activities after the $1 million will be funded? 5.Does Aboriginal Investment believe that any further grants, or other sources of funding, will be further needed to complete the Centre?
