8. When asked during AE2025-26 (ACIAR question 1) to explain why it had not published an AI transparency statement by the deadline, ACIAR responded "ACIAR's AI Transparency Statement was published March 2025, following a short delay." This is not an acceptable answer and demonstrates a disdain for the Senate's role as a house of review. Did ACIAR become aware of the requirement to publish an AI transparency statement on 11 March 2025? (per order for the production of documents no. 468, p. 17)
