2. When asked during AE2025-26 (ACIAR question 1) to explain why it had not published an AI transparency statement by the deadline, ACIAR responded "ACIAR's AI Transparency Statement was published March 2025, following a short delay." This is not an acceptable answer and demonstrates a disdain for the Senate's role as a house of review. Why did ACIAR fail to explain why it failed to meet the deadline for publishing an AI transparency statement when it was asked during estimates in December 2025?
