Question

1. What concrete response is Australia considering to ongoing annexationist measures and settlement expansion in the West Bank? 2. Is DFAT considering sanctions or other measures against institutions or entities directly involved in settlement expansion? 3. How does Australia ensure that recognition of Palestine is not undermined by inaction while Palestinian territory is being further fragmented on the ground? 4. Given Australia's clear position that settlements are illegal, what practical consequences follow from that position? 5. Is the government concerned about continued engagement with organisations central to settlement expansion, including the World Zionist Organization and its Settlement Division?
