1. What modelling did the Department undertake to forecast the economic and financial benefits to Australia of the European Free Trade Agreement (European FTA)? a. When was this completed? 2. Has the modelling been revised/updated to adjust for what has been [tentatively] agreed between the parties? a. When was this completed? 3. Were any benchmarks or minimal targets established for the European FTA? a. Were minimum criteria established for the European FTA, that if they were not met it would not be in Australia's interest to enter into the FTA? 4. How can the department assure Australian businesses that the European FTA is beneficial for Australia? 5. Does the FTA place any limitations or state expectations on what charges importers or distributors could impose on Australian goods landed in Europe?
