1. Budget Paper No. 2 states the Government will provide $110.2 million over five years from 2025-26, and $7.5 million per year ongoing, under the Supporting Trade and Tourism measure. Please provide the full funding profile by year, agency, program and activity. 2. The published payment table shows total payments of $29.2 million in 2026-27, $36.9 million in 2027-28, $24.1 million in 2028-29 and $9.5 million in 2029-30, totalling $99.7 million. Please reconcile this with the stated $110.2 million over five years. 3. What portion of the measure is new funding, what portion is reprioritised funding, and what portion is being met from within existing resources? 4. Which agency is the lead agency for each component of the measure? 5. For each component of the measure, please identify: a. the policy decision date; b. the responsible minister; c. the administering agency; d. the program or outcome; e. the expected deliverables; f. the expected completion date; g. the number of ASL funded; h. whether any funding is ongoing. 6. What is the basis for the ongoing $7.5 million per year? Which functions continue permanently? 7. What portion of the ongoing funding relates to implementation of the Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement? 8. What portion of the funding will be spent before the Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement is signed, tabled, ratified or enters into force? 9. What happens to the A-EU FTA implementation funding if the agreement is delayed, amended, not signed, not ratified, or does not enter into force? 10. Please provide a breakdown of the $38.6 million over four years and $7.1 million ongoing for A-EU FTA implementation by agency and activity. 11. Please provide a comparison of implementation payment funding for the A-EU FTA with previous Australian FTAs, including A-UKFTA, ChAFTA, KAFTA, JAEPA, CPTPP, RCEP, IA-CEPA and A-UAE CEPA. 12. Does the Government consider the A-EU FTA to require more implementation funding than previous Australian FTAs? If so, why? 13. Which A-EU FTA chapters or obligations are driving the implementation funding? 14. Is any funding being used for treaty committees, specialised committees, domestic advisory groups, civil society forums, stakeholder bodies, dispute-settlement capacity, legal advice or secretariat support? 15. Is any funding being provided to external organisations, consultants, peak bodies, industry groups, civil society organisations or non-government organisations? If yes, provide recipient, amount, purpose and selection process.
