Budget Paper no. 4, pg 72, DFAT Resourcing Table

Senator SHARMA: Whilst I've got you, Ms Degen, I had one question about the budget. In Budget Paper No. 4, in the foreign affairs and trade agency resourcing table on page 72, there is a $145 million equity injection. What's that for? Ms Degen: Did you say 155- Senator SHARMA: Yes, I've got it here. It's Budget Paper No. 4, page 72, the agency resourcing table for DFAT-there are the normal appropriations, but there's $145 million as an equity injection. Ms Degen: I'm reading from the wonderful portfolio budget statement. I think the reference is $145,674,000. Senator SHARMA: That's it. Ms Degen: I will have to come back. Equity injections would be for a myriad of capital projects, so my sense is that it would be spread across property, ICT and security. But I can go and see if I can do some more digging on what that number specifically covers. Senator SHARMA: Sure. You could do that or take it on notice otherwise. Ms Degen: Can do.
