Question

Senator CANAVAN: Just going back to the Civil Society Forum, the domestic advisory groups and other committees, is any of the money in the budget for implementation of the free trade agreement going to civil society groups or other third parties to help implement the agreement? Mr Mina: There's no particular funding that has been established in the budget for that purpose, no. Senator CANAVAN: I may as well move on to that, then-the $38.6 million over four years and $7.1 million a year ongoing. Is that all just going to this department or are other departments receiving funding as well? Mr Mina: It's a range of government agencies. I'm happy to take you through that, if you wish, in detail. But effectively it's a half a dozen components or thereabouts. Senator CANAVAN: Maybe on notice you can give us the details of which departments or agencies are receiving funding. Mr Mina: Yes. Senator CANAVAN: Or you can tell me the names now and then we can get the numbers on notice. Mr Mina: DFAT on the innovation mobility pathway, IP Australia on the geographical indications, and DISR and the National Measurement Institute.
