Question

1. Can you confirm that it's DFAT's understanding that there will be a financial impact on existing export contracts in some cases, through the requirement to purchase gas to meet existing export volumes and the domestic supply obligation? 2. Was DFAT provided with or consulted on the modelling that went to Cabinet relating to the gas reservation policy? 3. Has DFAT assessed whether this policy could trigger investor state dispute settlement claims, compensation claims, or disputes under trade and investment agreements?
