Question

1. What is the current target date for tabling the Australia-EU FTA in Parliament? 2. What is the current target date for referral to JSCOT? 3. Will all annexes, schedules and side instruments be public before the agreement is referred to JSCOT? a. If not, which documents will still be missing at the time of referral? 4. Will JSCOT be given access to any documents that are not public? 5. Will industry stakeholders be able to access all commercially relevant schedules before making submissions to JSCOT? 6. Will JSCOT be asked to report before all schedules are public? 7. Will the National Interest Analysis include a product-by-product assessment of agriculture market access? 8. Will the National Interest Analysis include the cost of implementation funding by agency? 9. Will the National Interest Analysis include the outcome of the Office of Impact Analysis process? 10. Will any implementation work create practical or political pressure to ratify the agreement before parliamentary scrutiny is complete? 11. Does DFAT accept that JSCOT scrutiny is weakened if stakeholders do not have sufficient time to assess the full treaty package? 12. How much time will industry and Parliament have between publication of the final schedules and JSCOT's reporting deadline?
