Question

With reference to the former Labor Government’s ShapingSEQ 2023 prioritising consolidation (infill) ahead of expansion (greenfield), with a minimum 60/40 consolidation-to-expansion dwelling growth ratio across the region, aiming toward 70/30— Will the Deputy Premier advise (a) if the Crisafulli Government will remain committed to reducing urban sprawl through a consolidation-first approach to urban growth, (b) will the minimum 60/40 ratio and aspirational 70/30 ratio established in ShapingSEQ 2023 be retained, amended, or removed and (c) if amended or removed, what specific alternative measures will the government implement to limit urban sprawl and ensure the efficient use of existing infrastructure?
