With reference to the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project, which involves the clearing of significant vegetation along the rail corridor as part of level crossing removals and corridor upgrades— Will the Minister advise (a) what steps the government has taken to demonstrate the impact of vegetation removal on koala populations, (b) how many hectares of vegetation have been approved for clearing as part of the project and (c) how the government will ensure that koala populations in the corridor are protected during and after construction?
