Question

With reference to the former Labor Government’s Queensland Quarry Demand and Supply Risks report concluding that quarry demand would rise simultaneously across almost all regions, limiting the ability for regions to supply each other—Will the Minister advise (a) if this conclusion remains valid under current conditions and (b) has the Crisafulli LNP Government assessed whether the current infrastructure pipeline and housing targets have (i) intensified quarry material demand in South East Queensland, (ii) shifted demand to new or emerging growth corridors, (iii) created new or heightened regional quarry supply bottlenecks and (c) if the answer to (b) is yes, where can the results of that assessment be accessed or when will they be publicly released?
