With reference to the government’s stated commitment to improving subcontractor payment security and the Minister’s 2025 Statement of Expectations for the QBCC— Will the Minister advise (a) what measures are currently in place to ensure that adjudication decisions under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 are administered by properly appointed statutory officers in accordance with the Act and (b) whether any gaps, vacancies, or acting arrangements in these statutory roles have affected the timeliness, integrity, or reliability of adjudication outcomes for subcontractors since 2021?
