With reference to recommendation 68 of the Commission of Inquiry into Queensland Police Service responses to domestic and family violence that ‘Within 18 months [of November 2022], the Queensland Government establish the Police Integrity Unit as an independent and separate unit of the Crime and Corruption Commission to deal with all complaints in relation to police’— Will the Attorney-General advise (a) if the government supports the recommendation, (b) if the interagency working group formerly tasked with implementing the recommendation has held any meetings since 1 November 2024 and (c) how many FTE staff in the Department of Justice are working on the implementation of the recommendation?
