With reference to commencement of the Planning (Social Impact and Community Benefit) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2025 on 30 June 2025, and the repeal on 20 March 2025 of the Ministerial Infrastructure Designation for 90 affordable homes at 16 Bright Place, Birtinya (MID-0624-0855), based on non-compliance with Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s Development Control Plan 1 – Kawana Waters— Will the Deputy Premier advise (a) given the subsequent legislative amendments validating infrastructure designations that did not comply with development control plans, why was MID0624-0855 not retained and validated under the new framework and (b) how many infrastructure designations were validated by operation of the Planning (Social Impact and Community Benefit) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2025?
