Question

With reference to the 2023 Queensland Quarry Demand and Supply Risks report released by the former Labor Government which found quarry material demand would exceed previous historical peaks in 2023–24 and continue rising, reaching a peak of approximately 66.2m tonnes by 2029-30— Will the Minister advise (a) if the Crisafulli LNP Government has re-run quarry demand modelling using the current infrastructure pipeline and housing targets and (b) does the Crisafulli LNP Government accept that changes to (i) project timing, (ii) project scale and (iii) project location since November 2025 may materially alter the quarry demand outcomes forecast in the report?
