Question

With reference to the former Labor Government’s Queensland Quarry Demand and Supply Risks report concluding that quarry demand would rise simultaneously across almost all regions, limiting the ability for regions to supply each other— Will the Minister advise (a) if the Minister accepts that this conclusion remains valid under current conditions and (b) details of any assessment by the Crisafulli LNP Government of whether the current infrastructure pipeline and housing targets have (i) intensified quarry material demand in South East Queensland, (ii) shifted demand to new or emerging growth corridors or (iii) created new or heightened regional quarry supply bottlenecks?
