Question

With reference to the passing of the Federal Environment Protection Reform Bill 2025, which industry groups warn will significantly increase regulatory and financial burdens on Queensland’s agriculture, forestry, fishing and mining sectors, restrict broadscale land use and further compromise domestic food production— Will the Minister advise what action the Queensland Government is taking to protect Queensland primary producers and resource industries from the impacts of these federal reforms, including whether the government will seek amendments or repeal of provisions that override Queensland’s land management responsibilities and impose additional constraints on production?
