Question

With reference to policing and enforcement of public transport fares— Will the Minister provide the following information for each month from July 2024 to November 2025 (a) the number of full-time equivalent staff whose role description includes enforcement and the total cost of their wages, (b) the number of warnings given in relation to fare evasion, (c) the number of on the spot fines given in relation to fare evasion and (d) the number of charges for fare evasion prosecuted in the Magistrates Court?
