Question

With reference to the Next Lap Report, and the Minister having specifically made note that ‘Careful consideration will be given to the sale of Deagon Racecourse’ – on the potential sale and future of Deagon Racecourse— Will the Minister (a) detail the process which will be followed to make this decision, (b) advise what community consultation will take place regarding the future of the Deagon Racecourse and Queensland Racing site in Deagon, (c) advise the timeframe for any decision to be made on any such sale, (d) guarantee all employees, local community and relevant unions will be consulted before any decision is reached, (e) if the decision is reached to sell Deagon Racecourse, provide a no job loss commitment, (f) if the decision is reached to sell Deagon Racecourse, guarantee no privatisation of this important community asset and (g) guarantee that the local community will be consulted regarding the future of this site?
