Question

With reference to Volunteer P&C organisations providing significant support to local schools throughout regional Queensland, and the high cost of insurance and auditing jeopardising the immediate future of regional P&Cs— Will the Minister outline whether the Education Department is considering increasing funding to P&Cs to meet the 2025 report from the Parliamentary committee inquiry into Volunteering in Queensland and the report’s recommendation - that the government should lessen the cost, burden and complexities of the commercial insurance sector available to the volunteer sector?
