Question

With reference to the election commitment in the LNP’s ‘The Right Plan for Queensland’s Future’ to provide emergency accommodation for vulnerable women and children through ten new and replaced domestic and family violence shelter— Will the Minister advise (a) what capital funding has been allocated for these ten shelters, (b) what operational funding has been allocated for these shelters in the 2025– 26 Queensland Budget, (c) how many of the ten shelters will be new shelters and how many will be replacements, (d) where will each new or replaced shelter be located and (e) if this information is not yet available, in what year and month does the Queensland Government expect to be able to confirm the number and location of the new and replaced shelters?
