With reference to cane growers facing a significant reduction in productivity across the Mirriwinni and Babinda regions after suffering extensive damage to cane crops and farm infrastructure during the significant rainfall event on 17 September 2025, coupled with continuous events over recent years— Will the Minister immediately move to activate disaster recovery funding assistance within the Mirriwinni and Babinda districts?
