Question

With reference to the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) announcing it has commissioned research to understand the behavioural impact of the introduction of a 50 cent public transport fare across Queensland, including its impact on road congestion and the implications of the low fares on cost of living— Will the Minister advise (a) the current status of this research, including when it commenced and when it is expected to be completed, (b) the total amount of funding allocated for this research and (c) whether, and when, the findings of this research will be publicly released?
