Question
With reference to Indooroopilly State High School (ISHS) capacity— Will the Minister advise (a) why was the independent BDO demographic analysis commissioned by the department, which projected a likely 3,175 students by 2029, not adopted as the basis for the AMID Assessment Report for the Ministerial Infrastructure Designation (MID), (b) why is the MID’s target enrolment capacity (2500 students) 400 students lower than the figure included in the earlier draft Concept Master Plan (2900 students), which proposed the same number of projects (four) in the same locations, (c) are there other schools in Queensland where the department has pursued an MID with a target enrolment capacity that is smaller than the existing enrolment, (d) how many other State High Schools in Queensland have 23 percent or more of their classrooms designated as temporary classrooms and (e) given the 2025–26 Budget still did not include any funding for construction of new classrooms at ISHS, and this MID only deals with one of the four projects in the Master Plan, when the Minister expects the last of these four projects to be funded and delivered?
