Question

Will the Premier advise whether the LNP Government’s Election Commitment for 1,600 additional police recruits means— (a) 1,600 police officer growth, over and above Labor’s fully budgeted Police Officer FTE of 14,036 and projected headcount of approximately 14,050, by June 2027 (and a headcount of approximately 15,650 police officers by October 2028); or (b) 1,600 recruits graduating from the police academies since 31 October 2024, not accounting for attrition; or (c) a net increase of Police Officer headcount of 1,600, from 31 October 2024 (approximately 13,900 total by October 2028)?
