QUESTION Will the Minister advise, based on currently committed projects, the total number of mental health beds (including acute, HiTH, extended treatment, community residential and forensic mental health beds) that will be available by 2031-32? ANSWER I thank the Member for the question. It is unclear whether the Member is requesting the response to include the total number of mental health beds in a public Queensland Health facility and/or mental health beds in private facilities that are contracted with/funded by Queensland Health. I invite the Member to clarify his question to ensure a fulsome response. In the meantime, I refer the Member to the answer to Question on Notice No. 546.
