Will the Minister advise (a) if Integrity Commissioner advice has been sought regarding any perceived conflict of interest that arises due to the Director-General’s dual role as Director-General of Tourism and a decision-maker under section 35 of the Nature Conservation Act 1992 (Qld), which requires the Director-General to assess eco- tourism projects in National Parks subject to strict criteria, (b) if so, what measures have been put in place to avoid conflicts of interest in decision making and (c) if no advice has been sought, why not?
