Question

With reference to $6m in funding to transport sugarcane from Mossman to Gordonvale— Will the Minister advise (a) whether any modelling has been done by the department to assess potential excess costs of incidents such as the truck crash on the Port Douglas Coast Road on 16 August 2025 and (b) whether excess associated costs will be funded under the Department of Primary Industries?
