With reference to recent correspondence received from the Minister on 26 June 2025, stating that if a detailed proposal was developed and feasible for the Railway Workshops, formal consultation would occur with employees— Will the Minister advise (a) why were employees at the Railway Workshops shown a detailed drawing of a proposal, (b) why would a developer draw up plans for this piece of land and (c) has the Minister or the department had discussions surrounding this piece of land in regard to development?
