With reference to the government’s proposal to review current social housing tenants to reassess their eligibility— Will the Minister advise (a) what support the government will provide to tenants who are deemed no longer eligible for social housing to assist them in transitioning into the private rental market, (b) will the government offer financial assistance for moving costs for these tenants, (c) what support will be available to assist with the private rental application process, particularly for individuals who require additional help and (d) what specific assistance will be available for vulnerable tenants or those with complex needs to ensure they are not left at risk of homelessness or housing insecurity?
